Map of District Boundaries

Belle Isle’s city council consists of seven district representatives and one city mayor, and operates under a council-manager form of government. The council establishes policies and programs and appropriates funds for each city service function. Council approves all ordinances, resolutions and contracts, reviews proposals for community needs, initiates actions for new programs and determines the level of funding for city services and facilities.

Mission: Belle Isle’s city council strives to preserve the community’s quality of life and identity, and to provide needed services to Belle Isle residents through careful and meaningful growth and sound fiscal control.

Vision: Council’s vision for Belle Isle is to be Central Florida’s premiere community where residents and businesses can thrive in a healthy environment, centered on Lake Conway, with the support of a responsive city government.
