Salute to Veterans

Veterans and their families will be honored at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 8, during the Orlando Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra’s Salute to Veterans at the Cornerstone auditorium, located at 801 Fairlane Ave. Central Florida’s best jazz musicians will offer their take on the newest in big band originals from artists like Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Bublé. Belle Isle and Edgewood mayors will recite a Veterans Day proclamation and lead a tribute recognizing local heroes.

Holiday Tree Lighting

Belle Isle families and friends will gather on Wednesday, December 4, at 6 p.m. to celebrate the holidays during the City of Belle Isle’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting. Community members will enjoy photos with Santa Claus, kids crafts and activities, food trucks and more than 50 vendor displays.
